"Open"...

The danger of an open heart is that its not only open to the Spirit of God, but its also open to the schemes of the enemy... generosity is often abused, compassion is often misused and love is often confused... nevertheless, stay open!

It IS a day by day, moment by moment CHOICE, not to rip myself off from being blessed because of the ignorance of another, to remain open and resist the urge to close camp, fill the moat and pull up the draw bridge!

It is really tough! There is no easy way around it! don't know how much more PRACTICAL one can get than by telling you how its done on a moment by moment, minute by minute basis! It IS a constant fight! at the moment of negative feeling (whatever it may be, be it retreat, revenge or retaliation) it is at THAT moment, we are faced with and must make a choice, to succumb or overcome! There is no hocus pocus, no special chant, no declaration to make or for that matter no scripture to read... all that you choose to do should have been before hand, at this time, when that feeling and thought comes, it all boils down to a CHOICE, a choice not to shut down which at the same time is a choice to remain open... shutting down is in essence, giving the other party control over our lives, while they have gone on. to remain open is to keep the control of your own life, not leased out to others.......

When we close our hands, God cant bless us and when we close our hearts, love cant find us! even though people take from it, keep your hand open and even though people walk out of it, keep your heart open because God always has the final say and the last laugh!

Please, allow me to encourage you, while encouraging myself, to keep giving (whatever it may be, a word, a smile, a gesture, some money, your love) even when its unappreciated, misunderstood or you are taken advantage of! refuse to let others determine your blessing! refuse to let others rip you off from being blessed
